A rectangle has a length of 3x-4 and a width of x+2. What is the perimeter of the rectangle

The equation for perimeter is 2L+2W (length is l and width is w)

therefore we can write perimeter is 2(3x-4)+2(x+2)
6x-8+2x+4
8x-4
