y-intercept is when x = 0 or the b-value when in the form y = mx + b

-10x -
(1)/(2)y = 5

-10(0) -
(1)/(2)y = 5

(-1)/(2)y = 5

-2((-1)/(2)y) = -2(5)

y = -10

Answer: (0, -10)

-10x -
(1)/(2)y = 5

+10x +10x

(-1)/(2)y = 10x + 5

-2((-1)/(2)y) = -2(10x + 5)

y = -20x - 10

b = -10
