We want to solve

(2)/(5)\le x-4

We need to clear the fraction first by multiplying through with the LCM, which is 5.

5* (2)/(5)\le 5x-5*4

2\le 5x-20

Grouping like terms gives,

2+20 \le 5x

\Rightarrow 22 \le 5x

Dividing through by 5 gives,

(22)/(5) \le x

We can rewrite this as

x\ge (22)/(5)

OR

tex]x\ge 4\frac{2}{5}[/tex]
