Why is the Latin language important to medicine and law

The latin language is important to the law because if you travel around places you have to know what there saying or else it sounds bad even if your a law and if it’s in medicine you have to know how to read that to

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure it's because many of our English words are derived from Greek and Latin words and pre-fixes like the names of popular medicines and law terms. Just my guess, Hope this helps! - Laurel
