4x+24/3=12
So 4x+8=12
-8 on both sides
4x=4
divide by 4
x=1

The answer is x=1
4x+24/3=12
Reduce the fraction so it becomes 8
4x+8=12
Subtract 8 on both sides
4x=4
Divide both sides by 4 to get x by itself
X=1
Hope that was helpful :)
