The substances in our diet that make up myelin are avocados, fish, nuts, whole grains and any food rich in Vitamin B-1 and B-12. Omega-3 is good for mental health because it improves memory and removes all the symptoms of depression and can get you out of it. It also helps people who have mental illnesses.
