Aaron needs 24 inches of copper wire for an experiment. The wire is sold by the centimeter. Given that 1 inch = 2.54 centimeters, how many centimeters of wire does Aaron need? Hint: 1/2.54 = 24/x , remember you have to keep inches on top and centimeters on bottom of both fractions so they are equal. What is the answer to this problem? PLS HURRY

(1)/(2.54) =(24)/(x)

Multiply both sides by 2.54.

1=(24)/(x) (2.54)

= (60.96)/(x)

Multiply both sides by x.

x = 60.96

Hence, Aaron needs 60.96 centimeters of wire.
