<b><i>HEY THERE !!

\huge{SOLUTION:-}

TIME TAKEN FOR EACH ACTIVITY :-

\red{FOR \:RUNNING :-}

he ran 5 miles with the speed of 8 miles pr hour so as we know

TIME :- DISTANCE ÷ SPEED

=> 5/ 8 = 0.625 hours........1️⃣

\red{FOR\: BIKING :-}

He rode bike for 10 miles with the speed of 20 miles pr hour.
SO TIME :- 10/20= 0.5 hours........2️⃣

With equation 1️⃣and 2️⃣

total time taken is 0.625 + 0.5 = 1.125 hours or 67.5 minutes.

HOPE IT HELPED YOU.

Hi Jd444976,

Answers to find in the answer graph.

Distance for each sport:

He Ran 5 Miles

He Rode Bike For 10 Miles.

Time It took to do each sport:

Running - 5 / 8 = 0.625 = 37.5 minutes

Cycling - 10 / 20 = 0.5 = 30 minutes

0.625 + 0.5 = 1.125 = 67.5 minutes
