f(x) = x - 4 → H

to find the x- intercept of a function set f(x) = 0 and solve for x

(F) x² + 2x - 8 = 0

(x + 4 )(x - 2) = 0 ⇒ x = -4, x = 2 are the x-intercepts

(G)
(- 3x + 16)/(4) = 0 ⇒ x =
(16)/(3) is the x- intercept

(H) x - 4 = 0 ⇒ x = 4 is the x-intercept

(I) (x + 4)(x - 3) = 0 ⇒ x = - 4, x = 3 are the x-intercepts
