The reflection of the point
(x,y) across the x-axis is given by
(x,-y).

The point given to us is
(7,3), when reflected across the x-axis we get:


(x,-y)=(7,-3)

Now, when a point
(x,y) is reflected across the y-axis we get the point
(-x,y).

So when the point
(7,3) is reflected across the y-axis we get:
(-x,y)=(-7,3).
