y = mx + b where m = slope

In this case y= 3x+5, slope m = 3

Hope that helps

a line with the slope of 3 would be parallel to y=3x+5.

why? well, lines that have the same slope but a different y intercept are parallel. so, the line would have to be the same as the original line and have a slope of three.

i hope this helped and have a great day! if you need any further assistance with this specific question or i made any mistakes, please let me know!
