parent graph: f(x) = |x|

shifted 6 units down: f(x) = |x| - 6

then shifted 4 units to the right: f(x) = |x - 4| - 6

then vertically stretched by 2: f(x) = 2|x - 4| - 6

This means the vertex (0, 0) has moved to (4, -6) and the slope is 2

**************************************************************************************

f(x) = |x| f(x) = 2|x - 4| - 6

x y x y new coordinate

-2 2 -2 + 4 = 2 2(2) - 6 = -2 (2, -2)

-1 1 -1 + 4 = 3 1(2) - 6 = -4 (3, -4)

0 0 vertex 0 + 4 = 4 0(2) - 6 = -6 vertex (4, -6)

1 1 1 + 4 = 5 1(2) - 6 = -4 (5, -4)

2 2 2 + 4 = 6 2(2) - 6 = -2 (6, -2)

Plot the NEW COORDINATES for the transformed graph.
