- 4B - 2C when b equals 2.5 + C equals 3

So first substitute for what each letter equals to put it in parenthesis

-4(2.5)-2(3)

Now solve each make sure to bring down the negative sign in between

-10-6

Now subtract -10 minus 6 to get

-16

-4b - 2c =

(-4 × 2.5) - (2 × 3)

-10 - 6

= -16

So, -4b - 2c = -16

Hope this helps and let me know if anymore help is needed!!
