(a) Asymptote is a line where the graph goes close to the line but does not cross

In the left side, the graph goes close to 2 on y but does not cross.

On the right side the graph goes on increasing.

So we have horizontal asymptote at y= 2

(b) The horizontal asymptote at y =2 . so when x goes to - infinity , f(x) goes close to y=2

As x increases the f(x) also increases

So f(x)-> ∞ as x -> ∞

Option A is correct.
