The measure of an angle exceeds 3 times its supplement by 4. Find the measure of the angles.

(Geometry problem, please include a model if possible.)

Hints:

Supplementary means the angles equal 180. Therefore, supplement means the angles together will equal 180.

x=3y+4, y=y
x+y=180, 3y+4+y=180, 4y+4=180
4y+4=180
4y=176
y=44
x=3(44)+4, x=132+4, x=136

(I am not a very good artist in this case:)
