It's not often that you find rectangular prism-shaped rocks with these dimensions. Rather, we assume that the rock would fit into a box with the given dimensions, but not actually fill every corner of the box. The maximum possible volume of this rock would be (1.9 cm)(1.5 cm)(3.8 cm) = 10.83 cm^3; the actual volume is most likely less.
