Answer:

Explanation:

What are terminating decimals.

A decimal number that has digits that do not go on forever.

0.001(it has 3 decimal digits)

0.25 (it has two decimal digits)

3.0375 (it has four decimal digits)

In contrast a Recurring Decimal has digits that go on forever

Example: 1/3 = 0.333... (the 3 repeats forever) is a Recurring Decimal, not a Terminating Decimal

As we can see

a) 1/11, 1/121, 1/1331 will result in recurring decimals

as 1/11 =0.09090909090- this is a recurring decimal where 90 is repeats many times

b)Whereas 1/10=0.1

1/1000=0.001

1/10000=0.0001

for any value of n this sequence will result in a terminating decimal

So this should be the answer

c) 1/6 , 1/36, 1/216

1/6= 0.1666666

1/36 =0.027777777

this will result in a recurring decimals with any value of n

d) 1/3 , 1/9 , 1/27

1/3=0.3333333

1/9= 0.1111111

1/27 =0.037037

every fraction result in a recurring decimal
