The answer is 21.

If we're following the PEMDAS rule. We could make the equation:
27-2(3).

we would do multiplication first, which is
2(3). That leaves us with
27-6.

Now we just subtract that to get our answer, 21.

27 - 2(3) = \\ 27 - 6 = 21
I think that is the answer.
