Which of the following equations have infinitely many solutions?

I. 6(2 x + 4) = 3(4 x + 8)

II. 0.5 (8 x + 4) = 4 x + 2

III. 7 x + 8 = 7( x + 8)

IV. 3 x + 4 = 7 x - 2

V. 2(6 x + 4) = 4(3 x + 2)

for us to have infinitely many solutions, we need to have one of two situations happening, when we solve for x we get 0=0... this is because both of our sides need to be the same, then it doesnt matter what x equals, so it can be anything!

solve each equation and see if everything ends up canceling out!
