The slope of line L is

= ( - 3 - 3)/(2 - - 1) = ( - 6)/(3) = - 2
Since the line is parallel to L , it also has the same gradient,

The equation is

y = - 2(x - 3) + 3

y = - 2x + 6 + 3

y = - 2x + 9
