This would be a 500% increase.

6 x 1 = 6, and so this is a 0% increase of 6.

6 x 2 = 12, and so this is a 100% increase

6 x 3 = 18, and so this is a 200% increase.

Knowing this, we know that 36 is 600% of 6, or a 500% increase

Ok so like

Percent of change is the amount of change/original amount

The amount of change is 30 because 36-6=30

30/6 is 5

and

5 = 500% percent of change
