Does anyone know how to tell if a graph is inverse

you can tell if the graph is inverse if f(x) passes the horizontal line test ( basically if it touches the line that goes across *horizontally* on the graph) and a graph is a one to one function if and ONLY if it touches both vertical and horizontal lines on the graph
