2x-2y=4

Multiply each equation by the value that makes the coefficients of y opposite.


(-1)(16x-2y)=(-1)(74)

2x-2y=4

________


-16x+2y=-74

2x-2y=4

________

-14x. -70


Divide -14 both sides


X= -70/-14


X= 5


Now substitute x answer into one original equation to find y.


2x-2y=4


2(5)-2y=4


10-2y= 4


Subtract 10 both sides

-2y= -10+4


-2y= -6


Now divide -2 both sides


Y= -6/-2


Y= 3


So (5,3) is your point answer
