It is estimated that 100,000 fans will attend a football game. Forty-two percent of them will not be able to park at the stadium, so satellite parking will be used. Twenty buses will shuttle fans from the satellite parking areas. Each bus can carry 70 fans. How many trips will each bus have to make to get everyone to the stadium?

I believe the answer will be around 34 trips because a hundred thousand divided by 42 percent is around 2380. so you would have to do 2380 / 70 which is around 34 trips.

Hope this helps!!!!!!

Answer:

Each bus have to make 30 trips to get the fans to the stadium.

Explanation:

We are given the following information:

Total number of fans = 100,000

Percentage of fans that would not be able to park at stadium = 42%

Number of fans that would not be able to park at stadium =
(42)/(100)*100,000 = 42000

Number of buses = 20

Number of fans each bus can carry = 70

Number of fans carried by 20 buses in single trip = 1400

Number of trips to be taken =
(42000)/(1400) = 30

Thus, each bus have to make 30 trips to get the fans to the stadium.
