Hello!

Conflict is a struggle from between opposing forces or characters. In a story, conflict includes obstacles the protagonist must overcome.

Internal conflict is the struggle occurs within the character's mind. The conflict is revealed through inner monologue.

External conflict is the struggle occurs from between a character and an outside force. The outside force gets in the way og the protagonist, who is trying to achieve a goal.

Internal conflict ⇒ deciding to study more, battling sadness, and controlling a temper.

External conflict ⇒ believing a rule is unfair, arguing with a friend, and battling a storm.

Hope this helps you!

Have a great day!

an internal conflict is a conflict that happens within someone. for example if I was losing weight but was also craving cookies and ice cream it is an internal conflict not to eat those things.

a external conflict is a conflict with someone or something. for example if Barbra from accounting kept stealing your jello and you guys got into an argument that Is an external conflict with Barbra
