We are given

y-2x is less than or equal to -3

so, we can write it as

y-2x\leq -3

now, we can solve for y

Add 2x on both sides

y-2x+2x\leq 2x-3

y\leq 2x-3

Firstly, we will draw graph for equality

y= 2x-3

We can compare it with slope intercept form of line

y= mx+b

where

m is slope

b is y-intercept

m=2,b=-3

now, we can change inequality

we can check for origin

At x=0 , y=0:

0\leq 2*0-3

0\leq -3

we know that this is false

so, region will be shaded opposite of origin side

so, we get graph as

Graph the inequality. y-2x is less than or equal to -3-example-1
