So we want to simplify

\frac{12 {x}^(3) - 4 {x }^(2) + 8x }{ - 2x}
We split the numerators,


= \frac{12 {x}^(?3) }{ - 2x} - \frac{4x {}^(2) }{ - 2x} + (8x)/( - 2x)

= - 6 {x}^(2) + 2x - 4
The correct answer is B.
