What does x = if the other sides of a right triangle are 60 and 36

This is testing your knowledge on Pythagorean triple.


60 = 5 * 12

36 = 3 * 12
Using the Triple 3, 4, 5



x = 4 * 12

x = 48
You can also use the Pythagoras theorem.



{x}^(2) + {36}^(2) = {60}^(2)

{x}^(2) + 1296 = 3600

{x}^(2) = 2304

x = √(2304) = 48
