The origin has coordinates,

(0,0). The second point is (3,4)

Using the two points,

The slope of L,

m = (change \: in \: y)/(change \: in \: x)

m = (4 - 0)/(3 - 0) = (4)/(3)

A line that is parallel to L also has slope,

= (4)/(3)
