The distance between the two points is;


d = \sqrt{( {(5--10)}^(2 ) + (3 - 12) {}^(2) )}

d = \sqrt{((5 + 10) {}^(2) + (3 - 12) {}^(2) }

d = \sqrt{(( {15}^(2) + ( { - 9}^{} ) {}^(2) )}

d = √((225 +81))

d = √(306)

d = 3 √(34)

d = 17.4929
