Chantelle has signed up for hockey. Her parents set a limit of 40$ for costs for the season. It costs 25$ to sign up plus 0.75$ for each ice-time. What is the maximum number of ice times Chantelle can go?

Okay so the limit is $40.

The equation would be 25+.75x=40

40-25=15

15/.75=20

so x=20

Chantelle can go to the ice a maximum of 20 times with the $40 limit she's given.
