If you were to suddenly transport to Jupiter, what would happen to your mass and weight?

Mass is the quantity of matter in any given thing, and will remain unchanged until material is added or removed to that particular thing. Weight however, is a measurement that is dependent on gravity. As gravitational force increases, so does weight. A person on Jupiter would weigh more than they would on Earth, but they would have the same mass no matter where they are in the universe.

Your mass would not change... it's a constant. However, your weight would increase, because the force of gravity (directly related to the mass of the planet) would increase substantially. (Gravitational force is directly proportional to the mass of the two objects in the field, and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them). You can thank Newton for that equation.
