The answer is B: died before baptism.

Many theologians believed that the baptism for all the people that converted to Christian belief was very important and they consired this a manifestation of the new life. Regarding the children, they wondered what could happen if they died. Could they lose the opportunity to go to heaven? Some still believe that parents should baptise their children the earliest possible.
