Question:

-6 = n/2 - 10

Steps:

1. Multiply 2 to every side for the n to get by itself

  • -6 x 2 = n/2 x 2 - 10 x 2

2. Simplify,

  • -12 = n - 20

3. Then add 20 to both sides

  • -12 + 20 = n - 20 + 20

4. Simplify,

  • 8 = n

So the answer to this question is n = 8.

Hope that helped!!!
