If the area of a square is multiplied by 16, the area becomes 25 square inches. find the length x of a side of the square.

a) 25/16 in.
b) 5/4 in.
c) 4/5 in.
d) 5/8 in.

Area of a square= length^2
16 x length^2 = 25 square inches
length^2 = 25/16 square inches
length = 5/4 inches (B)
