The equation would look like 126 ÷ 1 1/6. Then, you turn both into a fraction, so now it looks like 126/1 ÷ 7/6. Next, you do the Keep Change Flip process. you keep 126/1, change ÷ to ×, then flip 7/6 to make it 6/7. Now, it looks like 126/1 × 6/7. When multiplied, it comes out like 756/7. Divide that, then you get 108. So, Freda paid $108 on her precious shopping trip.
