5/8 of it is the total for both states

1/4 is equal to 2/8. 3/8 + 2/8= 5/8

Hope this helped

Answer:

(5)/(8)

Explanation:

(3)/(8) of the corn grown in Iowa.

(1)/(4) of the corn grown in Nebraska.

To calculate the total corn supply is grown in the two states.

We have to add both value.

Total supply = Corn grown in Iowa + Corn grown in Nebraska

=(3)/(8)+(1)/(4)

=(3)/(8)+(2)/(8)

=(3+2)/(8)

=(5)/(8)

Hence,
(5)/(8) of the corn supply is grown in the two states.
