Area = xy
A square has congruent side meaning each side is the same length

We can rewrite the formula of area
Area = (x)(x) = x^2

16(x^2) = 25 divide both sides by 16
x^2 = 25/16 square root each side
x = (25/16)^1/2
x = 1.25

Check:
Area 16(1.25)^2 = 25
16(1.5625) = 25
25 = 25 ✅
