Answer:

465 K= 191.85 C

465 K= 377.33 F

Explanation:

Given : For the temperature 465 K.

To find : Is the Fahrenheit or Celsius equivalent the greater value?

Solution :

Converting 465 K into Celsius and Fahrenheit,

1) The relationship between Kelvin and Celsius,

K=273.15+C

For, 465 K into C

465=273.15+C

C=465-273.15

C=191.85

So, 465 K= 191.85 C

2) The relationship between Kelvin and Fahrenheit,

K=273.15+(5)/(9)(F-32)

For, 465 K into F

465=273.15+(5)/(9)(F-32)

(5)/(9)(F-32)=465-273.15

(5)/(9)(F-32)=191.85

F-32=(191.85* 9)/(5)

F-32=345.33

F=345.33+32

F=377.33

So, 465 K= 377.33 F

As clearly, 377.33 F is greater than 191.85 C.
