The fromula of a midpoint between (a, b) and (c, d):

M\left((a+c)/(2),\ (b+d)/(2)\right)

We have (5, 8) and (-3, 10).

Substitute:

(5+(-3))/(2)=(2)/(2)=1\\\\(8+10)/(2)=(18)/(2)=9

Answer: A) (1, 9)
