the number seems smaller in the question and smaller on the graph, so I assume that it is weak. C and D are therefor both wrong, that just leaves me with 2 choices, weak positive or weak negative, the choice is obvious since it has its negative sign, answer choice B is your winner

Answer:

B. weak negative association

Explanation:

Correlation formula coefficeimt is used to find how strong the relationship is between two data's. Correlation formulas returns values between -1 and 1.

If the correlation if from 0 to 1, this means there's a strong positive relationship between the variables while from -1 to 0 shows a negative relationship between the variables.

As we move close to -1, the negative correlation becomes stronger i.e for every positive increasing in one variable, there is a negative decrease in fixes proportion in the other.

Based on the conclusion, correlation value of -0.19, has a weak negative relationship since the correlation becomes weaker as we move towards 0
