In what ways, both practical and spiritual, do the iroquois rely on the natural world?

They hunt for meat and coverings like fur etc, herbs from trees for curing many ailments. In the spiritual sense they pray to the wind gods offer thank to wind, moon, sun and maker of life.

Iroquois maintained themselves through hunting, gathering and cultivating. Ladies were in charge of the crops. They dealt with the development and reap of harvests, and settlements moved each ten to thirty years because of soil losing its fertility.
