Step-by-step explanation:

DNA replication is a process which occurs during interphase of cell cycle. Meiosis II occurs after meiosis I and after meiosis I no interphase exists. So due to the absence of interphase before meiosis II, DNA replication does not take place or in simple words "no new DNA is created". Meiosis II is a bit different than meiosis I because in meiosis II haploids are generated by segregation of sister chromatids in contrast to meiosis I in which homologous chromosomes segregate instead of sister chromatids.
