Solve for the perimeter and area of a square that has a side of 6cm

Hey there!!

How do we find area of a square?

Ans - We square the side - ( side )²

Side given = 6

Area = 6²

Area = 36 cm²

How do we find the perimeter of a square?

Ans - We multiply the side by 4 - 4 × side

Side given - 4

Perimeter = 4 × 6

Perimeter = 24 cm

perimeter is 24cm since 6+6+6+6=24
and the area is 36 since you multiply 6×6=36
