Amount taken by basketball clinic per player if the group consists of 25 players=$200

Total amount charged=$200 × 25= $5,000

Amount taken by basketball clinic per player if the group consists of 35 players=$150

Total amount charged=$150×35=$5250

Rate of change =[( Total Amount taken by basketball clinic per player if the group consists of 35 players) - (Total Amount taken by basketball clinic per player if the group consists of 25 players)] / (35 -25)

=
(5250-5000)/(10)

=250/10

=25

Rate of change i.e decrease in cost per player =$25

Answer: Decrease in the cost per player will be 25 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of player = 25

Amount charges by basket ball clinic = $ 200

Total amount earned by basket ball clinic = 25 ×200=$ 5000

Number of player = 35

Amount reduced to = $ 150

Now, total amount earned by basket ball clinic = 35× 150= $5250

Now, we will calculate the slope

As we know the formula of slope which is given by

(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)\\=(5250-5000)/(35-25)\\=(250)/(10)\\=25

So, Decrease in the cost per player will be 25 .
