Consider the given equation:

n-2 = (10n+4)/(2)

Cross multiplying in the given equation, we get

(n-2) * 2 = 10n+4

Applying distributive property which states
a(b+c) = ab+ac, we get

(n * 2) - (2 * 2) = 10n+4

2n -4 = 10n+4

Adding '4' on both the sides, we get

2n-4+4 = 10n+4+4

2n = 10n+8

Subtracting '10n' from both the sides of the equation, we get

2n-10n = 10n+8-10n

-8n = 8

Dividing by '-8' in both the sides of the equation, we get

n= -1

Therefore, the value of 'n' is -1.
