Complementary is 90 degrees.
Setting the equation
7x+4+4x+9=90
Combining like terms
11x+13=90
Subtract
11x=77
Divide
x=7
Plug the value of x into each of the equations
7(7)+4
49+4
53=<A
4(7)+9
28+9
