Answer: The required value of x is
(64)/(1).

Step-by-step explanation: Given that when 34 is added to x, the result is 98.

We are to find the value of x in fraction.

According to the given information, the equation can be written as :

x+34=98~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(i)

To find the value of x, we must tale 34 on the right-hand side of the equation.

From equation (i), we get

x+34=98\\\\\Rightarrow x=98-34\\\\\Rightarrow x=64\\\\\Rightarrow x=(64)/(1).

Thus, the required value of x is
(64)/(1).
