Marco traveled 5 hours at a constant rate to cover a total of 320 miles. Use the formula, d = rt, that relates distance, rate, and time to find Marco’s rate of travel.

Total miles = d

Rate = r

hours = t

Equation: 320 = 5r

Isolate the r. Divide 5 from both sides

320/5 = 5r/5

r = 320/5

r = 64

Marco's rate of travel is 64 miles per hour

hope this helps
