Y=-4x+5 I believe you just rewrite the equation like this

It can be re written in slope intercept form as y = 4x -5

and by comparison with the y =mx+b

slope of this line is 4 .

Now the concept is that this line and one another line will have only one solution only if the slope of the other line is not 4 . so we can write any equation of line whose slope is not 4 and that will be the other equation .

Lets say we want to keep the slope 2

so an equation y = 2x+4 will have one solution when solved .
